Ok, this won’t necessarily make Valentines Day a walk in the park and it certainly won’t guarantee to get you out of the usual tight fix… but what it might just do is give you a few helpful tips and ideas of what on earth you can get your partner for Valentines Day. Valentines Day gifts are seriously tricky to get right so this list can get you off to a head start.
We’ve got techy gadgets, romantic breaks, smelly things and soft things… there’s bound to be something for you to get your teeth into!

Here’s a full run down of the gifts in the list:
#1 Cashmere Scarf / throw from Les 100c
From low budget to high budget… Cashmere is expensive but it’s also what dreams are made of. (And I’m sure clouds for that matter.) So soft… so very very very soft! If I could I’d have my boxer shorts made from this stuff, I would. These scarfs / throws are gorgeous. I have no doubt that your partner will love one. Check out the full range of cashmere goodies at Les 100c.
Here you go… a useful, yet thoughtful Valentines Day gift. Simply attach the dongle to whatever it is they lose most (keys are the common suspect in my house), download the app and then track whatever it is you keep losing. They’ll never lose anything again… unless they lose their phone… then you’re buggered!
#3 Romantic spa getaway at the Titanic Spa
There’s not much that can beat a romantic getaway to a luxury spa. The Titanic spa comes highly recommended so why not treat you and your partner to a relaxing spa break this Valentines Day.
#4 Ted Baker Speakers
Mr Ted Baker is now breaking into the world of electronics with these very stylish speakers. A really nice Valentines Day Gift for your partner. Everyone loves music and these quirky speakers will be a really once thoughtful gift.
#5 Smeg appliances
This one is dangerous territory… My dad always taught me never to get your partner an appliance or appliance related gift… ever! But Smeg offer something different. Is this just an appliance? No, this says that what they do in the kitchen is important, valued, cherished and appreciated. This doesn’t say, cook more… it says thank you for cooking! Perhaps the perfect Valentines Day gift! (Plus it’s red – the colour of love!)
#6 Stone Glow Scented Candles
What better for the low budget holders among us than a quality candle! These Stone Glow Candles stink… which is apparently why most of our partners will like them. Be brave, suck it up and fill your house with the sweet aroma of scented candles.
#7 Hexbug Lovebug
This is a bit of fun. And sometimes you need a bit of fun to get through Valentines Day… Hexbug have released a love bug! (See what they did there?) A really affordable bit of fun to give your loved one this Valentines Day.
#8 Luxury spa break
How about a nice romantic break in a gorgeous luxury spa! Ragdale Hall is just that! We love going away for the night – child free – with just the wonderful possibility of you and your partner getting some long awaited, overdue, intense, prolonged and deep … sleep! Go on, treat her! One of the best valentines day gifts you could give!
#9 William May Pre-loved jewellery
William-May offer pre-loved jewellery. Now we all know that jewellery is fairly safe bet when it comes to Valentines Day, but the fact it’s pre-loved makes better quality more affordable. We’d really recommend giving the whole pre-loved thing a thought or 2! It’s a better way of saying second hand!
#10 The Art of Conversation board game
Another fun Valentines Day gift here. A board game designed to get you and your partner talking! Bet you never thought you’d actually have to talk on Valentines Day, hey? This game does aim to help you and partner spend quality time together though, and that’s why it’s made it onto our list. As far as fun valentines day gifts go, this is a winner!
#11 Top Gear experience to the one you love
The Top Gear Track Experience can offer gift vouchers for various experiences at the home of the Top Gear TV studio and test track at Dunsfold Park in Surrey. Guests can be the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car and earn a place on the leaderboard or they can have a hot lap with one of our tame pro-drivers. They’ll see how the Follow-through earned its name, and how an Ariel Atom can make your face go flappy. There’s even an authentic replica of the Top Gear telly studio in the actual hangar, complete with Cool Wall, displays of cars used on the show, and the presenters’ chairs.
Other driving experiences – all based around things from the telly show – include off-roading while attempting to evade the gun-sights of a tank, and driving hot hatches around slaloms and along nice straight bits. There’s even an off-road experience for drivers aged from 11-17 years old.
#12 One4All Gift Card – The only Valentine’s Day card she’ll need
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, the pressure is on for men and dads around the country to find the perfect way to show they care!
Whether you want to avoid a Valentine’s Day lingerie-sizing mishap or if you know she has very particular taste and don’t want to risk getting her an unwanted gift, opting for a gift which enables her to choose her perfect Valentine’s present is a great way to get around gifting awkwardness this 14th February.
The One4all Gift Card is the Post Office multi-retailer gift card, and can be spent in over 21,000 stores nationwide, from high street favourites John Lewis, Topshop, Boots and more, to Virgin Experience Days, Red Letter Days, Spa Seekers and Spa Finders. So no matter what your tricky Valentine is into, you’re bound to be able to find something to suit her taste – from spoiling her with a shopping spree in all of her favourite shops to enjoying a weekend away in the location of her choice.
It doesn’t matter if you’re strapped for cash or wanting to pull out all the stops, the card is an option which suits all budgets as it can be loaded with anything from £10 to £400.
What’s more, if you don’t have much time, you can avoid the scramble and pick one up from any UK Post Office or online at www.one4allgiftcard.co.uk.
Share the love by spending Valentine’s Day doing something you can both enjoy, by using it to treat you both to an indulgent spa day. Arrange for the grandparents to look after the kids and prepare for fluffy dressing gowns and relaxing massages, like the Elemis Escape experience, available with Spa Seekers, and spend the day in bliss. Busy mums will appreciate the gesture and revel in the rest.
For something more original than the well-worn options of chocolates and lingerie, pull out all the stops and show her true romance with Virgin Experience Days, which offer everything from decadent afternoon teas to romantic champagne hot air balloon flights. What girl wouldn’t want to watch the sunset over the English countryside with a bottle of fizz?
Or if she’s more of a get-up-and-go kind of girl, you can spend the day doing the daring activity of her choice – like a helicopter ride over the city or an adrenaline-fueled skydive – to get your hearts racing with Red Letter Days, then kick back with a home cooked meal afterwards to really impress.
What’s more, there’s no scrimping on the romance involved as the card itself can be a memento she can treasure forever. One4all’s Personalisation Service means you can upload a favourite picture of the two of you and a loving personal message to be printed onto the gift card.
It’s hard to know what women want, so make this 14th February one to remember, and sweep her off her feet with a gift she can use to craft the perfect Valentine’s Day.

And perhaps the absolute perfect gift… a subscription box. These are all the rage at the moment and are the perfect gift as they keep giving all year round. It’s basically a box of goodies delivered right to your door just like a magazine subscription would be delivered to you once a month. What a great present!
