We’ve had a very busy few weeks with our #dadsforchange campaign so this edition of Ted’s Threads is going to be a biggie. You might want to grab yourself a cuppa and an Oreo. (My blogging biscuit of choice!)
This month Ted has worn clothes from some of our old favourites and we have also discovered some great new Instagram shops. We love to support small businesses and pride ourselves on always sourcing only the best in toddler fashion and style.

As a very proud Dad, this tee is one of my all time favourites. It’s £14.99 from Baby.You.Rock. We love monochrome and although I’m not usually one for a slogan I am definitely finding some that are absolute must-haves. This is one of those. I’m tempted to buy it in a few sizes just so that Ted can’t ever grow out of it! Ted’s wearing his tee with Leshy Lamb leggings. (£13.00) These are a lovely snug fit, just perfect for a day of climbing and adventures. Leshy Lamb have also started making matching leggings for the Mummies (or Daddies if they want!). #twinningiswinning Leshy Lamb are offering Dad Network readers 15% off with code DAPPERTED –valid until March 6th AND Baby.You.Rock are offering 10% off with this code: TEDSTHREADS
We discovered Toffee Moon a year ago at The Baby Show and to date every item Ted has worn from their range has been exceptionally soft. Ted used to have this ‘stargazer’ design in the babygrow version and we loved it so much that we were delighted to find that they also make the matching top (£18) and trousers (£18) set. Both are made from velvet touch cotton jersey. Toffee Moon are offering The Dad Network readers a whopping 25% off (including sale items) with this code: DAD16 Valid until March 16th.
This year at The Baby Show we discovered Darlo. ‘An ethical babywear brand with giving at their core’. The range is made from organic cotton and for every product sold Darlo donate a week’s meals for a child in India. We were so impressed with this that we actually bought a good ten or so items for gifts for family and friends. Ted wears The ‘sleep tight little one’ sleepsuit (£20) Its available in three gorgeous colour blocking styles and the range is not only unisex but also so easy to mix and match. Darlo are offering a massive 25% off with code Thedadnetwork
Ted and I love Moccis. We’ve been wearing a matching aqua pair from last year and this year when we met up with the Moccis team Ted took a fancy to the gold leopard print. And why not. If Ted wants to wear golden leopard print then Ted can wear golden leopard print. And what is good for Ted is good for Daddy, so here we are in our new season matching Moccis. #twinningiswinning Moccis are giving The Dad Network readers 10% off with this code: TED10

And on the subject of #twinning check out these awesome tees! The ‘Not your basic Kid’ and ‘Not your basic dad’ t-shirts are from Cribstar for an amazing £9 and £12. I believe I am the first ever dad to get the Daddy version! (They also make one for the mummies) I am so into Ted’s fashion and style but I often forget about myself. This twinning trend means that I no longer have to be jealous of Teddy’s wardrobe! Cribstar are offering Dad Network readers 10% off with code TEDSTHREADS10

Being madly in love and not ashamed to shout it from the roof tops means that Valentines Day is a big deal in our house. This year alongside the flowers , the romantic meal for two, the card and the gifts, I knew I wanted Teddy to wear something special for the occasion. On my quest I discovered Milk Moustache Apparel. Be warned – if you take a look at their website you’ll have a heavy shopping basket. These Doodle Heart leggings are £16.00 and are handmade in the UK from soft organic cotton.

Working as a full time teacher means that Friday’s are a big deal. They mark the start of 2 amazing full days with my beautiful boy. Friday day Ted spends in a care home visiting his Great-Grandpa and Friday nights are always that bit special. This Friyay Tee from Lennie & Co is the perfect addition to the start of the weekend celebrations. You can also buy a sweatshirt version. They come in adult sizes too for the #twinning fans and they have recently released a red version too. The tee is hand screen printed in Devon and made from 90% cotton and 10% polyester. The quality is one that is hard to match. Lennie & Co are offering 10% off with code TED, valid until March 18th
This photo makes me smile every time. Here he is off to visit his Grandpa with everything an 18 month year old could possible need in his suitcase (playdough, wooden dolls house toys and the TV remote) His clothes are from Polarn O. Pyret UK and the scarf (£19.99) is from Elloviekids. Its made from chunky yarn with Alpaca, wool and Acrylic. It’s hand-knitted and available in grey, rust, mustard or khaki.

Teddy has worn Tommy & Lottie clothes since he was newborn. Tommy & Lottie are a modern unisex British clothing brand. All of their clothing is sustainable and ethically produced. Teddy wore their first fairground range and now 18 months later he is rocking their new range featuring badger, fox and hedgehog prints. His tee (£18) and harems (£16) are made from 100% pure cotton and designed and screen printed in Britain. The great thing about these harems is that they fit over the bigger cloth eco nappies.

Ted might be 18 months but I still love to see him in rompers. I’ll be dressing him in rompers for as long as possible. In fact I’d like a matching adult one. Some of the best rompers around are from Max and the star. This Jurassic Park Harem style romper is £15. I don’t believe Ted could look any cooler or more comfortable. That fact that it made him spend the day roaring like a dinosaur just makes me love it even more! Max and the star are offering Dad Network readers 10% discount with code THEDADNETWORK1. This is just one of many awesome designs.
And with all of these outfits bar none, Ted is wearing shoes from our favourite shoe stockist – Bobux. Bobux footwear is endorsed by podiatrists and is tested to international REACH standards for child safety. Good fitting shoes are vital and these tick the boxes for great design but also look amazing.
