UV Resistant Baby Clothes – Just in time for summer!

You may have heard me mention once or twice (ahem!) that Ted has dipped his toe in the world of modelling and posed with the best of them in his Panda and the Sparrow clothing. #prouddaddy

Ted has worn PandS clothes since he was a couple of months old and he still wears them now. They are ridiculously cute and unbelievably soft. They are easy to put on and take off and they wash well. On top of this the clothing range is colour co-ordinated so it all matches – a godsend in a wardrobe the size of Teddy’s!

Anyway… just when you think that an item of clothing ticks all the boxes, you find out it ticks boxes you hadn’t even thought of!

All PandS clothes are made of Bamboo. Bamboo is a pretty impressive fabric. It keeps baby cool when it is hot and warmer when it is cool. Genius! Also due to bamboo’s high absorbency it can carry mum or dad’s scent which may aid sleep! Perfect!

As bamboo has natural and organic properties it is non-irritating to the skin and can ease irritations for sensitive or allergy prone skin. Something I know a lot of parents will be pleased to hear.

And le piece de resistance with summer around the corner and the sun finally showing it’s face …. Bamboo is UV protective, cutting out 98% of harmful UV rays. If you could see our medicine cupboard you would see the 10 or more bottles, tubes and sprays of sun cream. No-one leaves this house in summer without an over-generous coating of factor 50! Sun protection is something Jen is pretty hot on! Panda and the Sparrow clothes are the perfect clothes to wear this summer to add to your baby’s sun protection.

So there you have it. Ted might look flipping gorgeous in his PandS clothes but there are also lots of other benefits to wearing bamboo.

And to anyone in a panic about the panda’s – rest assured. There are over 1000 species of bamboo tree. However, pandas only eat about 20 of these, so no food is being taken away from them. Phew!!

Just in case you hadn’t seen enough, here are some more photos of Ted in his gorgeous PandS clothes.
